This strategic expansion has allowed Panda Express to cater to a wide range of consumers, from families and students to travelers and military personnel.

The menu at Panda Express is designed to appeal to a broad consumer base, offering a variety of dishes that blend traditional Chinese flavors with modern twists. Signature items include Orange Chicken, Sweet Fire Chicken Breast, Beijing Beef, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken. Panda Express is well-known for its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. The company has recently introduced new prototypes and upgraded its loyalty program to enhance the dining experience for its customers[4]. Furthermore, Panda Express has launched its first dessert item, an Apple Pie Roll, reflecting its ongoing effort to innovate and expand its offerings[4]. This dedication to innovation, combined with its extensive distribution network—having distributed over 510 million fortune cookies annually—demonstrates the company’s ability to adapt and thrive in a competitive market[4].

As a fast-food chain, Panda Express operates efficiently, with a significant portion of its locations being company-owned. This model allows for consistent quality control and brand management across its vast network[4]. The company’s financial performance is impressive, with revenues exceeding $5 billion in recent years, positioning it as the 14th-biggest quick-service chain in the U.S. in terms of sales[4].

Panda Express’s success is also reflected in its role as a major foodservice buyer. The chain is the largest buyer of broccoli in the U.S., highlighting its commitment to using fresh ingredients in its dishes[4]. Moreover, the popularity of its signature Orange Chicken—with over 125 million pounds sold annually—underscores the brand’s ability to create and maintain iconic menu items that drive customer loyalty[4].

Visited this Panda Express location on Friday, April 17, 2026 around 2:44 PM and the entire experience was extremely disappointing and off putting. From the moment I walked in, the lobby was dirty tables, floors, and overall area looked unclean and neglected. The staff gave off a noticeably negative energy, like they didn’t want to help or even be there. I wasn’t greeted like other customers; instead, I felt ignored and unwelcome. The Hispanic lady working up front (with the prominent eyebrows) was lowkey being a smart-ass the whole time. I had to wait for my food to come out fresh, but when it did, they gave me the biggest pieces of chicken even though I specifically asked for smaller pieces. The portions felt skimpy overall the containers are noticeably smaller than at other locations (these seem like unofficial/shallower boxes not used elsewhere), and even though the food was piled high and spilling over the edges, it still looked and felt like they were cutting corners on the actual amount of food for the price. When paying, the cashier only gave me a receipt and abruptly walked off without providing my change. A manager (or someone who appeared to be in charge) came over, he

Had a really good experience at Panda Express. The food was fresh, hot, and came out quickly. The flavors were on point, especially the Orange Chicken, which is always a favorite. The staff was friendly and kept the line moving efficiently, even during a busy time. The place was clean and well maintained, which made the overall experience more enjoyable.
